What wireless models connect to the Sprint network and utilizes keep alives. If keep alives are used from the equipment how often do those happen? What are the pings used for?

The only wireless models that support the Keep alive feature are; MTCBA-C-EN, MTCBA-G-EN, MTCBA-E-EN.
The model that will work with the SPRINT network is the MTCBA-C-EN.
The Keep alive feature utilizes ICMP packets (ping ) to prevent the provider from disconnecting you from an inactive dial up connection.
The keep alive feature has a default to send a 10 packets every 30 seconds.
This option can be modified in both the number of packets and how often those packets will be sent.
