We want to swap two firewalls, one being an active RF850 with settings that we want to have exist on an RF860. Is it possible to save the configuration and import them to the other firewall?

Yes, you can use backup file between 850 and 860. Make sure both firewalls are running the same version of software and import and export backup files.
