Firmware version 3.11 or greater corrects a problem where the internal MMH2834 V.34 modem is still self testing and the mux toggles the DTR signal too quickly, so the modem never " sees " the DTR signal toggle. The mux now with 3.11 or greater will wait longer than the 700 ms needed by the modem for self testing. This is a problem with the modem self testing too long. MMH2834 V.34 modem Firmware version 2.08A exhibits this long self test problem. The latest MMH2834 V.34 modem firmware corrects this problem.
