The Recall button can be heard to bleep but does not place the calling party on hold while the forwarding extension is entered.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:To enable a call to be transferred to another extension the PBX expects to receive a DTMF tone pair generated by depressing the Recall button on the handset followed by the three digit extension of the forwarding party. The Recall button can be heard to bleep but does not place the calling party on hold while the forwarding extension is entered. So it appears that either the DTMF tone is not interpretted and sent correctly to the PBX or the timers controlling the Recall being sent are out. Any suggestions? The work around used was to enable Call Transfer in the Supplementary services on the MVP810 thus using #*1extn, which works fine for remote extension to remote extension but not for remote to Main site where the PBX does not interpret #*1.
RESPONSE:
This may be caused by a flash hook timer mismatch. Please make sure the flash hook timer on the MultiVOIP matches the flash hook timer on your PBX.
