Over the Air Activation (OTA), OTASP, and OTAPA.

The acronyms stand for "over the air service provisioning" and "over the air parameter administration". These protocols allow wireless service providers a simple way to activate and administer services and account information by communicating with the mobile device "over the air" rather then requiring physical access to the device.
