On the TCP/IP tab listing under event message, the times are 1 hour ahead of the actual time, where do these times come from - does the RF500s insert them?
There are servers out on the Internet that update time. SNTP stands for Simple Network Time Protocol. The RouteFinder looks for these servers automatically. One thing that helps this process is to have a connection to the Internet that is always on. This could be done with DSL or Cable through the WAN port. In version 4.58 firmware we have added a web interface. This will allow you to configure the RF500S in your browser. Place the LAN IP address of the RF500S in the address line of the browser to start this out. The default user is admin with no password. If you go to the Setup wizard the first option is setting the time zone. Make sure the time zone is set correctly.
