Inbound routing of e-mails is failing

If the mail log in the FaxFinder indicates that the faxes are being delivered successfully but the e-mails are not reaching their destination, then you should check the FaxFinder's hostname. If the FaxFinder's hostname matches the domain for the e-mails, then the FaxFinder determines that the e-mails are for itself and they will not be relayed through the SMTP server.

For example, the following e-mails will be successfully sent TO THE FAXFINDER from ITSELF:
-- Hostname = example.com
-- Inbound route: 5551212 routes to person@example.com

The following will instead be routed to the SMTP server and the destination e-mail address as expected:
-- Hostname = faxfinder.example.com
-- Inbound route: 5551212 routes to person@example.com
