If I have an RF660 connected to the Internet via an ADSL modem with a backup modem connected with a dial up Internet service. Will the RF660 send a mail notification to the system administrator stating that the backup modem has been activated?

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The client I am configuring these devices for has a backup ISDN line which is quite expensive. Now say the ADSL service disconnects on a Friday night and the backup modem activates, without this notification, the ISDN service could run all weekend and prove to be quite costly.

RESPONSE:

Currently there is no notification when dial backup is activated, but we are planning to add this feature in the next release (September 2003).

For now, You can always use some kind of third parties software which can notify you when the Wan IP address changes. Your Wan public IP will change when ISDN activiates.
