I'm trying to get my mail server to work with the fax finder, are the name server fields needed for this?

The name server fields should be filled out with DNS addresses in order to resolve the mail server name.

The DNS field is the IP address for resolving web addresses. If the email server has an IP address of 192.168.2.2, and you ping that IP, it may return comany@name.com, which is the domain name. If you enter the domain name for the mail server in the fax finder config, then you must have a valid DNS"domain name server"entry. If you enter the IP address instead of the Domain Name, then you would not need a valid DNS entry, however you still need a DNS entry to resolve the network time server, so it is good to enter a valid DNS entry.
