I'm setting up a RasFinder for use with Windows 2000. I have internal users with dial-back numbers set in the unit. Windows 2000 Pro signs the user on if no dial-back is required, but a dialback user gets a failed sign on.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The failed sign on indicates that the user name is wrong, password is wrong or domain is wrong. What settings need to be in the RasFinder as well as the DUN settings in Windows 2000 Pro to enable the unit to call the user back at the set phone number?

RESPONSE:

Make sure you have LCP extensions enabled on your Windows 2000 DUN. If you go into properties on your DUN connection and then go into Networking and click on settings under the "type of dialup server you are calling" you can enable LCP extensions.
