I would like to setup an off premise extension to my Avaya Partner Phone System using a MVP210 and a MVP130. I would like the remote analog telephone to behave exactly as if it were attached to the local Avaya Partner Phone System.

Avaya Partner Phone System analog port #18 ->MVP210 FXO Port 1 ->Internet ->MVP130 FXS Port 1 ->Analog Telephone

When someone picks up the analog telephone plugged into the MVP130, I want the phone to work as if it were plugged into the extention #18 port directly.

The MultiVOIP's support a feature called Auto Call that will allow the phone connected the MVP130 to ring as soon as extension 18 on the Partner rings.

Go to Configuration ->Voice/Fax in the MVP210 configuration and locate the Auto Call / OffHook Alert parameter on the left side of the page, near the middle. Click the black down-arrow next to None and select Auto Call.

The Phone Number line directly below will go active upon selecting Auto Call. Enter the Destination Pattern you've created in the MVP210's Outbound Phone Book to call the MVP130 (whatever number you currently dial to ring the MVP130 phone after getting dial tone from MVP210 FXO channel 1).

Click OK on the Voice/Fax configuration page and Save and Reboot the MVP210 to apply this change.
