When the characters " e " and " g " are received, this usually indicates that one of the devices is set for XPC character based flow control. The terminal emulation " PC Scan " or " PC Term" uses a different character set and uses XPC flow control. XPC is a character based flow control which uses ASCII hex 65&hex 67 characters to start and stop the flow of data.
