I have an RF550VPN and want to configure a Windows 2000/XP laptop using IPSec so I can use the VPN to connect to our network when I am away from the office (and have my laptop working as normal when I am in the office).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

I have had a look at the FAQ on the Web site, however, it appears from the instructions that this assumes my laptop has a static IP address? Once I dial up to my ISP this will not be the case, so how do I get around this problem?

RESPONSE:

If your Sentinel client is using a dynamic IP, On the RF550VPN and the VPN connection setup, you need to specify Remote IP Network, Remote IP Netmask and Remote Gateway IP to all 0.0.0.0
