I have a Verizon modem, and after going through the activation process, I'm not able to dial out.

- Check registration and signal: +CREG, +CSQ.
- If you are roaming, "+CREG: 0,5"; then try 'ATD*22890;' (number can range from 22890-22899). This will go through the process of downloading a PRL from Verizon's network. After this completes, try making outgoing calls again.
- If it is not roaming, check 'AT+CEER' to see the NO CARRIER reason and also check the number that you are calling.
