How can I backup the configuration on my MVPx10?
The configuration can be backed up by checking the box for "save current setup as user default configuration" which is displayed on the save/reboot screen in the configuration software. Then when you have a VOIP connected, you will want run the "download user defaults" option from the program group. This saves all settings except for the phonebooks. The phonebooks are saved in the files OutPhBk.TMR and InPhBk.TMR. These can be sent to the VOIP using an FTP software provided you have a username/password set. Each time you read a different voip, the files will be over written, so each time you save as user default during a save and reboot, you should back up the files to a directory other than the default installation directory, labed to indicate which voip the files belong to.
