FCC Certification Requirements and co-location of transmitters

The mDot has modular approval for FCC so you can simply use our FCC ID from our grant (AU792U13A16857). However, you will still need to do the normal FCC Part 15 Subpart B (unintentional emissions) testing with the device in your system.

As far as co-location, the test lab should be able to assist you with details about combining the mDot with the 2.4 GHz transmitter. Another part of the equation is whether or not the other transmitter has modular approval /FCC ID. It should be a similar process.

We can assist the lab with AT commands to turn on the mDot transmitter in various test modes if they need to also.
