If you intend to use the ISIHP-30 for dial-in PPP or ML-PPP connections, then you must install the NT RAS service. If you intend to use the ISIHP-30 for faxing only, then the NT RAS service does not need to be installed. If you have the ISIHP-30 installed for async port operation, you do not need to install the NT RAS service.
