After hanging up on a call with the AltiGen AltiServ phone system, the VoIP phone immediately rings.

This happens when the interface is set for FXS and an analog phone is attached. When the party at the analog phone hangs up, the phone will generate a ring with in 1-2 seconds and then stop. If you pick up the phone, you will hear a dial tone from the FXS channel and wonder who was trying to call you.

By disabling the H.450 MWI option on the PBX, the phone will stop ringing after the party hangs up from an active call. The H.450 MWI option can be disabled under IP trunk configuration.
