Patricia Sharma, Chair

Pat Sharma Chairman

Patricia Sharma has guided MultiTech to its position as a world leader in cellular and analog modem products and solutions. She took the helm in April 2007, succeeding her late husband, Dr. Raghu Sharma, founder of Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. Her leadership has earned the company recognition from the Women's Business Enterprise Council, the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal and Connected World magazine. 

Stefan Lindvall, CEO

Stefan Lindvall CEO

Stefan Lindvall brings more than 20 years of high level experience in the wireless industry to MultiTech.  In the last five years at Connected Development, a MultiTech subsidiary, Lindvall has created one of the leading wireless design services companies in the U.S.  Prior to Connected Development, Stefan served as President of the Americas at Wavecom and before that held various leadership positions at Sony-Ericsson and Ericsson including, Vice President m2m Sales, Americas. Lindvall received his MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Linkoping, Sweden.

Del Palacheck, COO

Del Palacheck COO

Del Palacheck has more than 30 years experience in Operations Management at MultiTech. As Chief Operating Officer, he heads the manufacturing, materials and facility management departments. He strives for quality and on-time delivery of products using Lean principles and a management approach that emphasizes teamwork. Del’s educational background includes a degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and additional electronics training.

David Smith, CTO


As part of the Executive Leadership Team and in conjunction with Marketing, Sales and Product Management David develops innovative hardware and software technology solutions to address customer and market needs. David began his career at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Since joining MultiTech, he’s brought his unique combination of innovation and pragmatism to deliver exciting new products and related IP, significant productivity improvements and state-of-the-art processes. He is currently co-chair of the LoRa Alliance regional perameters working group and a member of the Forbes Technology Council.

Jennifer Johnson, CFO


Jennifer brings more than 15 years of experience in finance and accounting to her role as CFO at MultiTech. Since joining the company in early 2016, she has already made an impact on operations – ensuring positive returns, cost savings and absolute compliance across the business. Her eye for detail has been applied to real estate and food service as well as technology. She holds a Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Rick Nozel, SVP of Sales


Rick Nozel’s entire career has been spent in the M2M wireless networking space. He joined MultiTech in 2014 as senior director of strategic sales. Prior to joining MultiTech, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at CalAmp and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MDS. Rick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee,Wisconsin. 

Duane Wald, VP and Managing Director, EMEA and APAC

Duane Wald EMEA and APAC

A farmer by lineage, an engineer by education, and a MultiTech veteran of more than 25 years, Duane Wald brings a down-to-earth, collaborative approach to improving business performance and delivering results.  His record includes the successful launch of new products, the ability to partner strategically with customers, and the execution of global customer programs.  His experience spans across engineering, operations, sales, business development, and marketing.

Daniel Quant, VP of Strategy

Daniel Quant is Vice President of  Strategy and is responsible for identifying new business opportunities while working closely with other functions to expand these opportunities into defined vertical and geographical markets. Daniel represents MultiTech in various standardization organizations.  Daniel has more than 25 years of wireless and telecom experience, including twenty leading global product teams. . 

Terry Boe, VP, Operations

Terry Boe Operations

Terry Boe began his career at MultiTech as an Electronic Technician more than 30 years ago, 25 of which he spent in engineering, design and global certifications. Today, as Vice President of Operations, Terry is responsible for all aspects of our U.S. based manufacturing from vendor management to quality assurance to on-time delivery. Terry leads our largest corporate citizenship initiative, an annual golf tournament that has raised more than $25,000 for local charities. He is a member of the Association of Manufacturing Excellence.

Tracey Dickenson, VP Program Management

Tracey Dickenson Program Management

Tracey oversees project and program management as well as Continuous Improvement at MultiTech. In her role, Tracey is responsible for streamlining internal processes in order to improve the customer experience. Having spent her entire career at MultiTech, Tracey was a critical mover in bringing LoRaWANTM technology to market and making MultiTech a first mover in the space. In addition, her previous team developed DeviceHQ, an industry-leading device management platform and application store designed to simplify the management and updates for MultiTech hardware.

Sara Brown, VP of Marketing

Sara Brown Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing Sara Brown is responsible for product marketing, as well as internal and external marketing and communications. She brings 20 years of technology marketing experience, with more than ten years focused on M2M and IoT. In addition to her experience as a senior creative at some of the world’s premier advertising agencies, Sara has worked for IBM, Wavecom/Sierra Wireless and Telit Wireless Solutions, and consulted to global technology companies. She is a member of the board of governors of the IoT M2M Council and Marketing Co-Chair for the LoRa Alliance.

Gregor Bleimann, President, Connected Development

Gregor Bleimann Connected Development

Gregor brings more than 25 years of experience in wireless hardware and services to his role as President of Connected Development. An engineer by training, Bleimann has worked in product management, business development and sales, as well as executive leadership for some of the industry’s biggest names. He established his own MVNO, Jazz Wireless Data, which was acquired by Kore Telematics in 2014. Most recently, Bleimann served as Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Telit IoT Connectivity.

Prasad Kandikonda, Director of Software Engineering

Prasad Kandikonda Software

Prasad began his 26 years with MultiTech by founding the company’s India software division in Bangalore in 1990. Since then he has held progressive responsibility including unified communications, innovation and ultimately software across the MultiTech product line covering everything from legacy product to the latest in communications technology. Before joining MultiTech, Prasad was a systems engineer at Wipro. He holds multiple degrees including a masters in technical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur and as well as an FTGMP in Management from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore.

Nick Klein, Director of Hardware Engineering

Nick joined MultiTech in 2014 as Director of Hardware, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, design agility and management. In his current role, he oversees a dozen of the industry’s finest hardware engineers and leads our cooperation with subsidiary Connected Development. Prior to joining MultiTech, he served as Director of Electrical Engineering at LogicPD. He holds three U.S. Patents, a degree in physics from Bethel University, and is a seven year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. 

Derek Wallace, Director of Product Management

Derek Wallace Product Marketing

Derek brings 20 years of product management experience to his role as Director of Product Management for MultiTech. He has worked across multiple parts of the value chain and around the world. He is responsible for the entire MultiTech portfolio, including product lifecycle and management process. He oversees a growing team focused on defining and launching the products that will achieve the most business value for our customers as well as MultiTech.
