This warranty applies to all MultiTech products excluding the FaxFinder hardware products. The FaxFinder hardware product warranty is available here. Your acceptance of products purchased from MultiTech constitutes acceptance of MultiTech's standard warranty terms and conditions, which are described below.

Warranty Terms

Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. ("MultiTech") warrants that for a period of two (2) years following delivery, the MultiTech products you have purchased (the "MultiTech Products") will (a) perform in accordance with published specifications, and (b) will be free from defects in materials or workmanship. In the event a MultiTech Product does not meet this warranty, subject to the conditions set forth in these terms and conditions, MultiTech's sole obligation will be, at its election, to repair or replace the MultiTech Product in question or to refund the purchase price.

MULTITECH MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT WILL MULTITECH BE LIABLE FOR PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR AN AMOUNT IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE DEFECTIVE MULTITECH PRODUCT OR PRODUCTS.
 
 

This warranty will not apply to any MultiTech Products that have been (a) damaged by lightning, water, or power surges, (b) neglected, altered, abused, or used for a purpose other than the purpose for they were provided, (c) repaired by you or any other party without MultiTech's prior written authorization, (d) used in conjunction with a third party product or products not approved in advance by MultiTech, or (e) otherwise used in a manner inconsistent with any instructions provided by MultiTech.

In the event that MultiTech repairs or replaces a defective MultiTech Product under warranty, the repaired or replaced product will be covered through the end of the original warranty period, but no repair or replacement will extend the warranty term past the two (2) year anniversary of the delivery date of the original MultiTech Product.

This warranty contains the entire agreement of you and MultiTech with respect to any warranty matters, and supersedes any and all other written or oral statements, representations or agreements relating to the subject matter of this warranty, except that (if applicable) the terms and conditions of any other warranty or service agreement between you and MultiTech that explicitly supplements or incorporates, and does not replace or modify, the terms and conditions of this warranty will also apply to the MultiTech Products you have purchased. To the extent any other warranty or service agreement between you and MultiTech expressly replaces or modifies the terms and conditions of this warranty, such replaced or modified terms shall not apply unless accepted by you (or your distributor, if applicable) and MultiTech in a signed writing (e.g., the Extended Warranty Services Agreement). You should note that if you are interested in obtaining either an extended warranty or an extended warranty with overnight replacement service, you must notify MultiTech of the same and execute an agreement specified by MultiTech within 60 days of your purchase of the MultiTech Products for which you are seeking coverage. If you purchased the MultiTech Products from a party other than MultiTech, MultiTech reserves the right to require proof of purchase to verify the timeliness of your request.

Any and all disputes arising out of or relating to the purchase or use of MultiTech Products, including any warranty claims, will be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota without regards to conflicts of laws principles. Any action arising out of or relating to the MultiTech Products must be brought only the Federal and state courts located in the State of Minnesota, and by accepting the MultiTech Products, you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and agree not to raise any argument of lack of personal jurisdiction or inconvenient forum or otherwise attempt to transfer such action from, or dispute the jurisdiction of, such courts. YOU HEREBY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

Return Procedures

You are required to arrange for and pay the shipping charges to return any defective MultiTech Products to MultiTech. MultiTech will use commercially reasonable efforts to repair the defective MultiTech Products within ten (10) business days. MultiTech will arrange for and pay ground shipping charges for all products replaced or returned to you within the United States. Any other shipping charges are your responsibility. MultiTech does not offer on-site service to repair any defective MultiTech Products or to resolve any problems relating to the installation of repaired or replacement products. MultiTech will, however, provide on-line support and troubleshooting. MultiTech's technical support number is 1-800-972-2439.

In the event that service is required, products may be shipped, freight prepaid, to our Mounds View, Minnesota factory:

A Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) is not required. Return shipping charges (surface) will be paid by MultiTech to destinations in U.S. and Canada.

Please include, inside the shipping box, a description of the problem, a return shipping address (must have street address, not P.O. Box), and your telephone number. If the product is out of warranty, a payment in advance is required. Acceptable means of payment include credit card, wire transfer or a check in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank.

Out-of-warranty repairs will be charged according to the Schedule of Fees, which may be obtained by emailing Repairs.

Extended Warranty Service Plans are available for selected products. Please call our sales department at 1-888-288-5470, option 3, or visit the Extended Services page for details on rates and coverage.

Questions regarding technical matters, product configuration, verification that the product is defective, etc., should be directed to our Technical Support department. Repair Procedures for International Customers
(Outside U.S.A. and Canada)

Your original point-of-purchase Reseller may offer the quickest and most economical repair option for your MultiTech product. You may also contact any MultiTech sales office for information about the nearest distributor or other repair service for your MultiTech product.

In the event that factory service is required, products may be shipped, freight prepaid to our Mounds View, Minnesota factory. Recommended international shipment methods are via Federal Express, UPS or DHL courier services, or by airmail parcel post; shipments made by any other method will be refused.

Please include, inside the shipping box, a description of the problem, a return shipping address (must have street address, not P.O. Box), and your telephone number. If the product is out of warranty, a payment in advance is required. Acceptable means of payment include credit card, wire transfer or a check in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank. Repaired units shall be shipped freight collect, unless other arrangements are made in advance.
