Resolution 3976: We have spam and antivirus setup on our RouteFinder, is there a way to prevent someone from sending an email like jim@xxxxx.com when he does not exist in our exchange users list
Our SMTP proxy does not know anything about the invalid email account, it always accepts email that has a valid domain configured. After it receives the email, it will forward it to the internal exchange server and this is when the exchange server will reject it.
If you want SMTP proxy to reject the email with invalid email account, you must enter the email address in the Routefinder recipient black list.
