Multi-Tech Standard Warranty
Terms and Conditions
Your acceptance of products purchased from Multi-Tech constitutes acceptance
of Multi-Tech's standard warranty terms and conditions, which are described below.
Warranty Terms
Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. ("Multi-Tech") warrants that for a period of two (2) years
following delivery, the Multi-Tech products you have purchased (the "Multi-Tech Products")
will (a) perform in accordance with published specifications, and (b) will be free
from defects in materials or workmanship. In the event a Multi-Tech Product does
not meet this warranty, subject to the conditions set forth in these terms and
conditions, Multi-Tech's sole obligation will be, at its election, to repair or
replace the Multi-Tech Product in question or to refund the purchase price.
MULTI-TECH MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY
DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT WILL MULTI-TECH BE LIABLE FOR PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, OR FOR AN AMOUNT IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE DEFECTIVE MULTI-TECH
PRODUCT OR PRODUCTS.
This warranty will not apply to any Multi-Tech Products that have been (a) damaged by
lightning, water, or power surges, (b) neglected, altered, abused, or used for a
purpose other than the purpose for they were provided, (c) repaired by you or any
other party without Multi-Tech's prior written authorization, (d) used in conjunction
with a third party product or products not approved in advance by Multi-Tech, or (e)
otherwise used in a manner inconsistent with any instructions provided by Multi-Tech.
In the event that Multi-Tech repairs or replaces a defective Multi-Tech Product under warranty,
the repaired or replaced product will be covered through the end of the original warranty period,
but no repair or replacement will extend the warranty term past the two (2) year anniversary of
the delivery date of the original Multi-Tech Product.
This warranty contains the entire agreement of you and Multi-Tech with respect to any warranty
matters, and supersedes any and all other written or oral statements, representations or
agreements relating to the subject matter of this warranty, except that (if applicable) the
terms and conditions of any other warranty or service agreement between you and Multi-Tech
that explicitly supplements or incorporates, and does not replace or modify, the terms and
conditions of this warranty will also apply to the Multi-Tech Products you have purchased.
You should note that if you are interested in obtaining either an extended warranty or an
extended warranty with overnight replacement service, you must notify Multi-Tech of the
same and execute an agreement specified by Multi-Tech within 60 days of your purchase of
the Multi-Tech Products for which you are seeking coverage. If you purchased the Multi-Tech
Products from a party other than Multi-Tech, Multi-Tech reserves the right to require proof
of purchase to verify the timeliness of your request.
Any and all disputes arising out of or relating to the purchase or use of Multi-Tech Products,
including any warranty claims, will be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota without
regards to conflicts of laws principles. Any action arising out of or relating to the Multi-Tech
Products must be brought only the Federal and state courts located in the State of Minnesota,
and by accepting the Multi-Tech Products, you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of
such courts and agree not to raise any argument of lack of personal jurisdiction or inconvenient
forum or otherwise attempt to transfer such action from, or dispute the jurisdiction of, such
courts. YOU HEREBY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
Return Procedures
You are required to arrange for and pay the shipping charges to return any defective Multi-Tech
Products to Multi-Tech. Multi-Tech will use commercially reasonable efforts to repair the
defective Multi-Tech Products within ten (10) business days. Multi-Tech will arrange for and
pay ground shipping charges for all products replaced or returned to you within the United States.
Any other shipping charges are your responsibility. Multi-Tech does not offer on-site service to
repair any defective Multi-Tech Products or to resolve any problems relating to the installation
of repaired or replacement products. Multi-Tech will, however, provide on-line support and
troubleshooting. Multi-Tech's technical support number is 1-800-972-2439.
Repair Procedures for U.S. and Canadian Customers
In the event that service is required, products may be shipped, freight prepaid, to our
Mounds View, Minnesota factory:

A Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) is not required. Return shipping charges
(surface) will be paid by Multi-Tech to destinations in U.S. and Canada.
Please include, inside the shipping box, a description of the problem, a return
shipping address (must have street address, not P.O. Box), and your telephone number. If
the product is out of warranty, a payment in advance is required. Acceptable means of
payment include credit card, wire transfer or a check in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank.
Out-of-warranty repairs will be charged according to the Schedule of Fees.
Extended Warranty Service Plans are available for selected products (U.S. customers only). Please call our sales department
at (888) 288-5470, option 3, or visit the Extended Services
page for details on rates and coverage.

Repairs for damages caused by lightning storms, water, power surges, incorrect
installation, physical abuse, or user-caused damages are billed on a time-plus-materials
basis.
Repair Procedures for International Customers
(Outside U.S.A. and Canada)
Your original point-of-purchase Reseller may offer the quickest and most economical
repair option for your Multi-Tech product. You may also contact any Multi-Tech sales
office for information about the nearest distributor or other repair service for your
Multi-Tech product.
In the event that factory service is required, products may be shipped, freight prepaid
to our Mounds View, Minnesota factory. Recommended international shipment methods are via
Federal Express, UPS or DHL courier services, or by airmail parcel post; shipments made by
any other method will be refused.
Please include, inside the shipping box, a description of the problem, a return shipping
address (must have street address, not P.O. Box), and your telephone number. If the
product is out of warranty, a payment in advance is required. Acceptable means of payment
include credit card, wire transfer or a check in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank. Repaired units shall be shipped freight collect, unless other
arrangements are made in advance.
