Business Development Account Manager

Multi-Tech is currently looking for a Business Development Account Manager to work in our Sales department.  This position will be responsible to:

 

  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; and resolving internal priorities.
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

 

The ideal candidate will possess: 

  • Experience marketing or selling products or services in a complex technology environment
  • A solid understanding of M2M market: products, players, technologies, etc.
  • Ability to turn potential leads into sales results
  • Strong customer focus –commitment to delivering quality solutions and maintaining effective customer relationships
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • B.A. Business or Marketing, with an MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of business development, marketing, and/or sales experience

Key Account Manager

We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager.  This position will be responsible to:

 

·         Develop, manage and grow account business and growth for assigned territory.

·         Manage manufacturer’s representatives in territory; develop sales plans and conduct monthly business reviews.

·         Identify “key players/decision makers” within assigned strategic account base and build out relationships with them.

·         Sell the full portfolio of our products and services primarily to first-time buyers, prospects and assigned customers. 

·         Work closely with management to ensure company goals and objectives are being met within the assigned territory.  In addition, relay competitive information and new market or product requirements to grow the product line and maintain reputation as a leader within our market.

·         Stay current on Multi-Tech’s product/solution offerings and the M2M industry to remain relevant to our customers.

·         Tailor the value proposition of each product/solution to the assigned accounts to show value in helping customers meet the objectives in their industry.

·         Expand territory presence with channel partners through territory visits, joint customer calls, trainings, opportunity generation, and development of strategic plan.

·         Perform required administrative and communication tasks.  Use all tools provided – including CRM.

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

 

·         Bachelors in related field and/or 5-7 years equivalent sales experience

·         Knowledge of the M2M market, including data communication products desired.

·         Strong prospecting and territory management skills including working with channel partners and/or manufacturer’s reps.

·         Able to command an audience and lead partners from a - sales perspective. 

·         Familiarity with solution selling

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM

·         Strong interpersonal skills, time management and positive work ethic

·         Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

·          Travel up to 50% is required

Sr. Product Marketing Manager

We are currently looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager.  This position will be responsible to:

 

Market Intelligence

  • With Product Management, create and manage programs to profile target markets and channels to define their needs and buying behavior
  • Establish and manage customer and channel advisory boards with Sales and Product Management
  • Formalize process for sales, support and others from across the company, to input feedback and insight that may impact the direction of the portfolio and marketing efforts.  Ensure a feedback mechanism to the originator is established

Marketing Launch Plans

  • Interface with Product Management and Marketing Communications to define and execute Marketing Launch plans
  • Assist in the creation of Sales and Marketing collateral and tools to support the launch and sustained Marketing efforts supporting the portfolio
  • Create and modify Sales and channel
  • Establish and report on milestones and metrics to gauge progress on associated Marketing initiatives and measure effectiveness
  • Manage the process to establish customer testimonials, case studies and joint marketing opportunities

 

Market Education

  • Define and execute customer and channel (direct and indirect) education programs
  • Manage collateral and information updates resulting from messaging changes and product revisions

 

Market Demand

  • Collaborate with others to develop demand generation strategies and manage associated marketing programs

 

The ideal candidate will possess: 

  • B.A. Business or Marketing
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a field facing role
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
