Patricia Sharma

President and CEO

As one of a small minority of women who successfully lead high-tech companies, Patricia Sharma has guided Multi-Tech to its position as a world leader in cellular and analog modem products and solutions. In 2004, she joined the company’s board as Director and Treasurer. In 2007, she became President and CEO, whereas her detailed vision and commitment to superior, consistent results, have placed the company on a path for continued growth and innovation. Patricia’s 25-plus years as a portfolio manager and private investor have proven invaluable in assessing and leveraging Multi-Tech's strengths, effectively allocating resources and adapting to meet the needs of the market.   Her leadership has earned the company recognition from the Women’s Business Enterprise Council, designating Patricia as one of its top 30 business leaders. She was also named the 2009 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by Minneapolis law firm, Mansfield Tanick & Cohen, for her extraordinary leadership and success in the management and operation of Multi-Tech and most recently recognized as a "Woman to Watch" in 2010 by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.

 

Damian J. Luna

Chief Operating Officer

A seasoned executive with functional experience in sales, marketing and operations, Damian J. Luna leads the company’s global operations from the world headquarters in Minnesota. As a member of the company’s executive team, Luna is responsible for day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth and financial goal management. Luna has an exemplary track record of carrying out innovative strategies and streamlining operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. His graduate studies emphasized finance at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
 

Allison Garside, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Allison Garside joined Multi-Tech in 2007 as Vice-President of Finance with extensive experience in public accounting as well as in both privately-held and publicly traded companies in manufacturing and service related industries. Allison holds a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

 

Matthew Sharma

Executive Vice-President

Matthew Raghu Sharma oversees strategic partnerships with cellular network carriers and Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and manages joint market ventures. He also spearheads an engineering team that focuses on technology innovation and product strategy. Matthew serves on the Board of Directors for Multi-Tech Computers UK and holds a B.A. from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN.



 

Jen Meyer

Director of Customer Relationship Management

Jen Meyer oversees customer relationship management and develops alignment between internal teams in the way customer, product, sales and marketing data is managed for Multi-Tech. Jen started at Multi-Tech in 1992 and has held instrumental roles developing various marketing programs, including international co-op programs, brand management, extended service offerings and product certifications. She is a Pragmatic Marketing Certified Product Manager and holds a B.S. in Marketing Management from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.


 

Dave Barczak

Vice-President of Sales
 

Dave Barczak has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and M2M industries. He spearheads the entire sales department, including the M2M (machine-to-machine) communication, distribution channel and Unified Communication teams. Dave holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and his Master’s degree coursework at St. Mary’s University focused on Telecommunications Management.

 

Del Palacheck

Vice-President of Manufacturing

Del Palacheck has over 30 years experience in Operations Management at Multi-Tech. A member of the Executive Leadership Team, he currently heads the manufacturing, materials and facility management departments. He strives for quality and on-time delivery of products using Lean principles and a management approach that emphasizes teamwork. Del’s educational background includes a degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and electronics training from a local vocational college.

 

Jeff Davis

Vice-President of Engineering

Jeff Davis oversees all aspects of the company’s research and development efforts. He joined Multi-Tech in 1981 as a test technician, moved on to tech support, and then became a development engineer and engineering manager before his current leadership role. He helped Multi-Tech acquire 31 U.S. patents, as well as multiple foreign patents. He is a graduate of Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis.



 

Jim Cairns

Vice-President of Business Development

Jim Cairns is tasked with developing product and services strategy and channel marketing programs. He brings many years of experience building strategic partnerships with companies to help facilitate sales and build market position.  Jim earned his M.A. in engineering (physics) at the University of Colorado and his B.S. in physics at Boston College.

Dave Smith

Vice-President of Product Development & Innovation

Dave leverages his experience in software and information systems to lead a team dedicated to introducing new products to the market. Smith earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and is working toward a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering.
