Patricia Sharma
President and CEO
As one of a small minority of women who successfully lead high-tech companies, Patricia Sharma has guided Multi-Tech to its position as a world leader in cellular and analog modem products and solutions. In 2004, she joined the company’s board as Director and Treasurer. In 2007, she became President and CEO, whereas her detailed vision and commitment to superior, consistent results, have placed the company on a path for continued growth and innovation. Patricia’s 20-plus years as a portfolio manager and private investor have proven invaluable in assessing and leveraging Multi-Tech's strengths, effectively allocating resources and adapting to meet the needs of the market. Her leadership has earned the company recognition from the Women’s Business Enterprise Council, designating Patricia as one of its top 30 business leaders. She was also named the 2009 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by Minneapolis law firm, Mansfield Tanick & Cohen, for her extraordinary leadership and success in the management and operation of Multi-Tech.
Matthew Sharma
Executive Vice-President
Matthew Raghu Sharma oversees strategic planning, business development, technology research, patents and information technology. Matthew works with state entities, including the University of Minnesota, to design the next generation of technology across many different vertical markets, and serves on the Board of Directors for Multi-Tech Computers UK. He holds a B.A. from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN.
Allison Garside
Chief Financial Officer
Allison Garside joined Multi-Tech in 2007 as Vice-President of Finance with extensive experience in public accounting as well as in both privately-held and publicly traded companies in manufacturing and service related industries. Allison holds a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
Del Palacheck
Vice-President of Manufacturing
Del Palacheck has over 30 years experience in Operations Management at Multi-Tech. A member of the Executive Leadership Team, he currently heads the manufacturing, materials and facility management departments, and administers the Operations Leadership Team, comprised of Multi-Tech Vice Presidents. He strives for quality and on-time delivery of products using Lean principles and a management approach that emphasizes teamwork. Del’s educational background includes a degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and electronics training from a local vocational college.
Jeff Davis
Vice-President of Engineering
Jeff Davis oversees all aspects of the company’s research and development efforts. He joined Multi-Tech in 1981 as a test technician, moved on to tech support, and then became a development engineer and engineering manager before his current leadership role. He helped Multi-Tech acquire 31 U.S. patents, as well as multiple foreign patents. He is a graduate of Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis.
Jen Meyer
Vice-President of Product Management
Jen Meyer oversees Product Management, Marketing Research and Technical Writing and leads her team in finding the strategic direction for all of Multi-Tech’s market-driven product lines. Jen started at Multi-Tech in 1992 and has held instrumental roles developing various marketing programs, including international co-op programs, brand management, extended service offerings and product certifications. She is a Pragmatic Marketing Certified Product Manager and holds a B.S. in Marketing Management from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.
Jim Cairns
Vice-President of Marketing and Business Development
Jim Cairns is tasked with developing product messaging for all of Multi-Tech’s products and services, channel marketing programs and go-to-market activities. In the area of business development, Jim creates and manages strategic vendor, partnership, alliance and association programs that identify and engage target groups. He brings many years of experience building strategic partnerships with companies to help facilitate sales and build market position. Jim earned his M.A. in engineering (physics) at the University of Colorado and his B.S. in physics at Boston College.
