RETURNS POLICY

The following sets forth the Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. ("Multi-Tech") policy for accepting and processing the return of Multi-Tech Products. Please read these requirements prior to purchasing or returning a product to Multi-Tech.

Returns Generally

Multi-Tech accepts the return of Multi-Tech Products only if they fall within one of the categories below:

  • The Multi-Tech Product was purchased directly from Multi-Tech or from an authorized distributor within 30 days of the return and is in its unopened and undamaged packaging. If you are seeking to return the Multi-Tech Product for this reason, and you purchased it from an authorized distributor, please contact your authorized distributor to process the return.
  • The Multi-Tech Product was purchased directly from Multi-Tech or from an authorized distributor within 30 days of the return and it does not work (generally referred to as "Dead on Arrival" or "DOA"). Multi-Tech will provide you with a replacement product (same or equivalent) upon receipt of written proof of shipment of the DOA Multi-Tech Product.
  • The Multi-Tech Product is within its warranty period and is defective (within the meaning of the Multi-Tech's Standard Warranty). Multi-Tech will repair the defective Multi-Tech Product at Multi-Tech's facility.

Multi-Tech Product that is opened and operating according to specification is not eligible for return. Multi-Tech Product that was purchased as part of a multiple pack cannot be returned in partial quantities. Customized or activated product is not eligible for return. Returns will not be accepted by Multi-Tech unless they meet the requirements described in this Returns Policy.

Returns Process

To return a Multi-Tech Product to Multi-Tech, please contact Multi-Tech's customer service department at eorders@multitech.com or customerservice@multitech.com and provide the following information:

  • Customer Name
  • Invoice Number
  • Item Model Number
  • Serial Number
  • Reason for the Return
  • Contact Information

Upon receipt of your information, a Multi-Tech customer service representative will confirm that your Multi-Tech Product is eligible for return. If your Multi-Tech Product is eligible for return, you will be issued a Multi-Tech Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA"), which includes the return address, Multi-Tech tracking number, and any additional directives from Multi-Tech. The RMA will expire sixty (60) days after it is issued. No returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA.

All costs for returning Multi-Tech Products to Multi-Tech are your sole responsibility, including shipping with tracking methodology, taxes, duties and any additional costs. The Multi-Tech Product must be returned in its original packaging, in new or as-new condition (depending on the reason for return), with all warranty cards, manuals, accessories and packing that originally accompanied the Multi-Tech Product.

Any replacement product will be the same model or equivalent as the returned Multi-Tech Product. Multi-Tech will pay only the shipping charges on the replacement product, with title and risk of the product passing to you once Multi-Tech makes the replacement product available for shipment.

In the event that Multi-Tech repairs or replaces a DOA or defective Multi-Tech Product under warranty, the repaired or replaced product will be covered through the end of the original warranty period, but no repair or replacement will extend the warranty term past the two (2) year anniversary of the delivery date of the original Multi-Tech Product.

Outside of Warranty Repairs

Multi-Tech does not offer on-site service to repair Multi-Tech Products or to resolve problems relating to the installation or troubleshooting of Multi-Tech Products. If your Multi-Tech Product requires repair that is outside of the warranty, please contact Multi-Tech's repair department at mtsrepair@multitech.com and we will assist you in determining whether your Multi-Tech Product is eligible for repair, advise you of the costs associated of the repair, and can provide an RMA. Repairs for damages caused by lightning storms, water, power surges, incorrect installation, physical abuse or user-caused damages are billed on a time-plus-materials basis. Payment in advance is required for all repairs outside of warranty. Outside of warranty repairs are subject to a ninety (90) day warranty that such repairs will be free from defects in materials or workmanship.
