The Buffer Fullness LEDs all come on and I am losing data. Why?
Flow control may not be configured properly. Configure Flow Control to match the method (Xon/Xoff, or CTS) supported by the attached equipment. To configure all channels for Xon/Xoff flow control, enter the command ATC0F2&W. For CTS flow control, use the command ATC0F1&W.

The Remote Down LED is off. Why won't the MultiMuxes pass data?
Source and Destination node numbers may not be configured properly on MMH/V 16 and 32 series MultiMuxes. Each MultiMux needs to be assigned a unique Source Node number. When you configure the channels, each channel's Destination Node Number field must be configured with the Node number of the destination MultiMux.

Why aren't my terminal function keys working?
Some terminals, particularly some Alpha Micro and Wyse terminals, require the MultiMux Flush Timer to be set to 20 ms or the function keys will not work properly. The default is 10 ms. The 20 ms Flush Timer is enabled using the AT#FT1&W command.

Why do my print jobs have text missing?
Flow Control and/or Pacing may not be configured properly. Verify that Flow Control and Pacing are enabled on the MultiMux printer channel. For example, if the printer is attached to channel 1 and uses Xon/Xoff, enter the command sequence ATC1F2F5&W on the command port. Also verify that Flow Control is enabled on the corresponding channel at the site that is sending the print job (Pacing should be disabled). This must match the method of Flow Control supported by the attached equipment. To configure Xon/Xoff Flow Control and disable Pacing on channel 1 enter the command sequence ATC1F2F6&W.

Why is the MultiMux losing the configuration changes I just stored using the AT&W command?
Downline Loading may be enabled on the remote MultiMux. This would cause your local MultiMux settings to be overwritten by the settings stored in the remote MultiMux's Downline Load Channel Parameters configuration screen. You must either disable Downline Loading on the remote mux by placing dip switch 1 of the remote mux in the down (closed) position, or you must make the configuration changes on the remote MultiMux.

Why is the Remote Down LED on?
A lighted Remote Down led means there is no communication with the remote MultiMux. The composite link CTS, XMT, RCV, and CD leds will normally be on when a connection is established. If the CD indicator is off, the local composite link device (modem, DSU, ISDN TA) does not have a a connection to the remote composite link device. Verify the configuration of the composite link devices and try connecting the MultiMuxes back-to-back. If they connect back-to-back, the problem is due to a bad line. Contact your service provider.
