Choosing a Multi-Tech FaxFinder Fax Server
Congratulations on your decision to purchase a
Multi-Tech fax server. We are confident that the
productivity and cost saving benefits will provide you
with a quick return on your investment.
To determine how many ports are needed for your work
environment, estimate the amount of fax traffic the
server will need to handle in a peak eight-hour period,
taking into account heavier traffic times and adding more
ports if needed. In addition, consider how those needs
might grow in the future. Then use the chart below to
determine which model, or models, is right for your application.
|
FaxFinder FF120 (1 port) |
FaxFinder FF220 (2 port) |
FaxFinder FF420 (4 port) |
FaxFinder FF820 (8 port) |
Fax transmission capacity per 8-hour period: |
480 pages |
960 pages |
1920 pages |
3840 pages |
Note: This conservative calculation is based on a 60KB page transmitted at 9600 baud. FaxFinder fax servers utilize Super G3 V.34 fax technology providing fax speeds of up to 33.6K bps. So actual pages transmitted could be higher.
