Multi-Tech Announces Four and Eight Port Fax Servers

Multi-Tech has added two more models to the FaxFinder line, the FF420 (4-ports) and FF820 (8-ports) giving it twice the fax capacity. With the new models, Multi-Tech offers an affordable solution that brings innovative distributed faxing to any sized network. The FaxFinder fax server allows users to receive faxes as e-mails and send them from any application that can print. It even delivers faxes over a WAN to the desktop of remote offices and field sales people.

"These new fax server models share many of the characteristics of our existing one- and two-port models," states Chip Harleman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Multi-Tech Systems. "By keeping the operating characteristics as similar as possible, we have made upgrading easier, and centralized training and management very straightforward, for larger companies deploying multiple models at remote locations. By bundling everything necessary for a complete fax server into one package, we have made network faxing available to a wider range of companies, including those without dedicated IT staffs."
